To mark our strong commitment to local communities and cultures, Pacaso is proud to debut its first fully Mexican-sourced home, Las Ventanas. Nestled along the stunning coastline within Las Ventanas al Paraiso, Las Ventanas stands as a testament to the beauty and craftsmanship of this vibrant nation. This property is not just the newest Pacaso property in Los Cabos — it also is our commitment to celebrating and honoring local artisans and the traditions that make this region so rich and diverse. As you step inside Las Ventanas, you'll find yourself immersed in the awe-inspiring beauty and cultural richness of Mexico.

Commitment to local culture

At Pacaso, our mission goes beyond providing exceptional properties and hassle-free second home ownership. We also have a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship of local artisans who infuse each home with uniqueness. The natural surroundings guide the design of each Pacaso home, with exterior spaces and location-based activities influencing the furnishings and layout. Our primary design consideration is regional specificity as we seamlessly integrate the outdoor environment with the indoor living spaces. To strengthen our commitment to the communities in which we operate, Pacaso's design philosophy incorporates a "shop local initiative." It plays a crucial role in ensuring that we not only create beautiful homes but also foster positive relationships with regional vendors and artisans. This ethos was at the forefront as we embarked on the interior design of Las Ventanas.

The artisans and vendors

Five extraordinary Mexican artisans played pivotal roles in bringing Las Ventanas to life.
Tributo: The entryway credenza boasts a traditional Otomí embroidery inlay, adding cultural elegance to the space. Its intricate design not only serves as a functional storage solution but also as a captivating work of art that pays homage to the rich heritage of Otomí craftsmanship.
Hector Herrera: His bronze sculpture of an octopus commands attention with its fluid form and intricate details. The piece captures the essence of the ocean and serves as a conversation piece for visitors and owners alike.
Tanya Talamante: Her captivating fish painting serves as the focal point of the living room.  With vibrant colors and masterful brushstrokes, the San Jose del Cabo artist’s piece connects the home to the artistic heartbeat of the community.
Caralarga: The large weaving pieces, meticulously handcrafted in Queretaro, make a bold decor statement. These artisanal creations not only provide striking visual appeal but also weave a narrative of cultural richness, bringing the essence of Queretaro's handmade traditions into the fabric of the living space.
Melissa Avila: This Mexico-City based artist handcrafted the totemic red clay pieces that serve as striking pieces throughout Las Ventanas. These unique works reflect  her commitment to preserving ancestral craftsmanship and stand as a testament to the fusion of contemporary artistic expression with Mexico's rich cultural heritage.

Our process and promise

Bringing a Pacaso such as Las Ventanas to life is a carefully choreographed endeavor led by our dedicated operations team. In the case of Las Ventanas, the procurement and design teams skillfully sourced Mexican-made products by collaborating with local vendors and artisans, ensuring the highest quality for our new Cabo home. Designing a 4-bedroom home from scratch is no small task, often spanning several months, and occasionally exceeding a year.
Pacaso’s best-in-class team alleviates the hassle, eliminates design fatigue and simplifies the complex process for homeowners. We handle everything: identifying local artisans, meeting vendors, ordering products and installing items with the support of our on-the-ground team. Our ultimate goal is to spark second home owners to experience that "aha" moment when they arrive and an immediate sense of "I'm home," but in a new and exciting way.
