Co-ownership Report from Bay Area Council Economic Institute

A leading Bay Area think-tank does a deep dive into the rising trend of co-ownership across California and the benefits of the Pacaso model

The Bay Area Council Economic Institute, a trusted research and policy organization in California has published a report on co-ownership and Pacaso. The paper concludes that the Pacaso model is particularly beneficial because it eases strain on the housing market by consolidating second home buyers into one home. Pacaso also boosts local economies by increasing local spending and sales tax revenue. The report includes several policy recommendations that encourage elected officials to define co-ownership so that it isn’t mistaken for other models and to support its expansion in communities.
