The almost two-mile Wilmington Riverwalk, located alongside the Cape Fear River, connects visitors to markets, boutiques, galleries and restaurants. Hop on a water taxi and arrive at the World War II Battleship North Carolina, which is open for tours.
A short car ride will take you to the beautiful coastal communities of Carolina Beach, Kure Beach and Wrightsville Beach. Watersports, boardwalks and festivals await, especially in the summer months.
